IMPORTANT MESSAGE! As our members
are aware, the old CMGS website was due for
replacement.
However, at the end of 2006, a server
failure at Netcetera (our website hosts) meant
that the current website was lost, together with
our new website which was not quite ready for
publication.
We have worked with Netcetera to recover
the website but most of the files are lost.
This new site is therefore under (heavy)
construction and content is limited whilst we
endeavour to bring it up to the standard of the
previous site and beyond.
Thank you for your patience!
Many thanks

The aim
of the Clinical Molecular Genetics Society
(CMGS) is to advance the science of clinical
molecular genetics and to further public
education. We have a strong interest in
promoting the quality of molecular genetic
(DNA) testing in the UK through training,
education, research, data-collection and
quality schemes.
The
society is part of the federated
British Society of Human Genetics
(BSHG).
Within the BSHG, the CMGS represents
scientists and medical technical officers (MTOs),
who mainly work in UK National Health
Service laboratories.
All members of the CMGS are members of the
BSHG - information on BSHG and CMGS
membership can be found
here.
