Welcome to the CMGS website

The aim of the Clinical Molecular Genetics Society (CMGS) is to advance the science of clinical molecular genetics and to further public education. We have a strong interest in promoting the quality of molecular genetic (DNA) testing in the UK through training, education, research, data-collection and quality schemes.

The society is part of the federated British Society of Human Genetics (BSHG). Within the BSHG, the CMGS represents scientists and genetic technologists (GTs), who mainly work in UK National Health Service laboratories.

All members of the CMGS are members of the BSHG - information on BSHG and CMGS membership can be found here.

If you have any comments about this website please use feedback form.

CMGS website move

The CMGS website has now moved to a new host (many thanks to Dr David Gokhale who transferred the site). The site can now be accessed via the following website addresses:

www.cmgsweb.shared.hosting.zen.co.uk

www.cmgs.org.uk

www.cmgs.org

Unfortunately, at present we are unable to provide a search facility on the website - we hope to restore this function in the future.
